| 瑞奇一行人離開被活屍攻陷的農場後，過了一個顛沛流離的冬天。羅瑞臨盆在即，活屍群漸漸襲來又陷入物資短缺的困局中，眾人發現了一所監獄，瑞奇成功攻入監獄。 另一方面，安卓整個冬天都與救了她的神秘刀客米瓊共進退。在一次軍方直昇機墜毀的意外中，二人因此重遇梅爾，並且被帶到由總督管治的伍德貝瑞。那裡受到嚴密的守備，毫無活屍的威脅，鎮民亦開始過正常的日子，但總督秘密、不擇手段的統治也引來了與瑞奇一行人的戰爭…。 1.
